I agree - I think the 3 judges are amazing and the recipes have been so good - it must be hard for them @readmore - Congratulations to all the winners
Thank you @readmore - it's good for us to hear some appreciation for our efforts. We try to be very fair judging on all aspects of the entry from taste, appearance/photographs, execution, creativity and story and even work on an uneven point system - and not withstanding that we still had two ties - for first and second place. In our minds they are all winners as we all know the amount of preparation that goes into being an entrant - from the planning to the shopping, cooking, baking, shooting photos, plating and posting. We appreciate all our entrants and wish they could all be prizewinners. This is why we are having a winners circle soon - so that winners will compete against winners and everyone stands a chance of winning
