I'm not Thai but did live in Bangkok for a couple of years and agreed that Thai people don't have a consistent breakfast culture! Usually I would grab fresh fruit on my way to work but on days where I would wake up hungover in my apartment I could go to the restaurant downstairs and get a rice dish with a fried egg on top and that was usually the closest I could get to "breakfast" (unless I got a toastie from 711!)
