Cauliflower Pizza

This week I made a presentation of appetizers with wine and one of those appetizers was a crunch of cauliflower with vegan mayonnaise another layer of pesto layer of tomato marinated with a sauce of black garlic and vegan cheese and finished with arugula and alfalfa sprouts.

For this presentation I made 40 appetizers and they were the first to disappear. They were a real success and here I show you how I made a very tasty and healthy cauliflower pizza.

Ingredients for the crust

2 cauliflower
1 clove garlic
3 branches of basil
3 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons of egg substitute or
3 eggs if it is not vegan
1/4 of flour all purpose
salt to taste
1/4 cup of vegan parmesan cheese or
1/4 cup regular Parmesan cheese

Add everything to the processor to make a paste and make small pancakes or medium-sized tortillas to add the other ingredients.

The garlic sauce has a white garlic clove and a black garlic clove very well ground with olive oil and salt to taste
The vegan mayonnaise is placed first on the cauliflower rind.

The second layer is a basil pesto with parsley, , olive oil, garlic and nuts.

The third layer is tomato marinated with the black garlic sauce. And vegan cheese or if it's not vegan mozzarella cheese.
And final arugula and germinated alfalfa

Leave a few more minutes in the pan over low heat to melt the cheese covered with a lid

The result is a pizza with an explosion of flavors and also nutritious. IMG_9651.JPG

Your cauliflower pizza looks beautiful! The use of black garlic for the garlic sauce and the tomato marinade sounds excellent! I'm not surprised your cauliflower pizza was the first to disappear as it looks so delicious and beautiful! I also love putting arugula after the pizza has been cooked. The freshness and nuttiness of the leaves brings another layer of enjoyment.
