Versatile Chicken Nuggets
Hello Friends. I am here again to share a recipe of Baby Finger Foods. It's like chicken nuggets but in a healthier version, I add up apple to the chicken and it makes a very good combination. You can also make it as a Grown up Finger Foods; just add a bit of salt and pepper, and is also great for party. It doesn't take much work and it's simple to prepare.
Makes: 12 - 15 pcs
Ingredients:
Ground chicken ( 1piece chicken breast )
1 Apple ( Grated )
Lemon ( 1tsp )
Dried thyme or Italian herbs
A dash of salt and Pepper
Egg (beaten)
Flour (few spoonfull just to coat)
Breadcrumbs
Procedures:
- Add in grated apple, lemon, salt , pepper and dried thyme to the Ground chicken.
- Mix it until all the all the ingredients are well combined.
- 1 tbsp of the mixture then Form a log shape or circled shape (or any shapes you want)
- Dip in flour (should be all coated)
- Then dip in the beaten egg
- Then dip to the Breadcrumbs
- Fry and Enjoy
You can also make batches and stock up in the freezer. It is very convenient when you're in a good to go moment.
It's a sure favourite to toddlers of all ages
