Cook with Us #8: Typical food of Venezuela
Ingredient:
• 125 grams of brown rice.
• 125 grams of white beans.
• 50 grams of chigüire.
• 125 grams of cream of auyama.
• 125 grams of salad.
•Salt and pepper to taste.
• Olive oil to taste
This dish is very famous and made in Venezuela for the Easter season.
Elaboration.
We brown the brown rice until it is completely soft. Then we sancochamos the white beans and season with salt and pepper to taste. The chigüire is sautéed, then shredded and we proceed to season with celery and chives. For the cream of auyama, sancocha the vegetable with some chicken bouillon, add salt and pepper to taste. And finally prepare a salad of carrot, cucumber and lettuce. Ready the preparation to taste.
