  • 150 g of butter;
  • 125 g of sugar;
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla sugar;
  • a pinch of salt;
  • ½ lemon;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 200 g of flour;
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder;
  • 2 tablespoons of milk;
  • 6-7 small sweet apples;
  • a little vegetable oil;
  • 2 tablespoons apricot jam;
  • 1 tablespoon of water.

Preparation



Whip 125 grams of butter. Combine sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Continue to beat the butter, sprinkle sugar mixture. Add the finely grated lemon zest and mix.

Without turning off the mixer, one by one enter eggs into the dough. Mix the flour and baking powder, pour into the dough and whisk. Pour in the milk and whisk again.

Peel the apples, cut them in half and remove the cores. On each half of the apple, make a notch 2-3 mm deep with a knife.

Cover the bottom of the mold with a diameter of 26 cm. To make the pie easier to pull out, you can take a mold with a removable bottom. Lubricate the parchment with vegetable oil.

Put the dough in a mold and smooth it. Top the apples with incisions upwards. Melt the remaining 25 g of butter and grease the apples. Bake cake at 180 ° C for 45 minutes.

Mix apricot jam and water. While the cake is hot, lightly grease the jam apples and lightly - the dough itself. Before cutting, cool the cake.
