Anna's Best Cooking Classes 1: Lammracks
I love to cook with my girlfriend called "Anna" and we try new creations all the time. This will be the the first post of a series of dishes we have done so far! Follow us if you like what we are doing or let us know in the comments below how it tasted for you ;) Also come up with your own recipes so we can exchange them!
4 Persons aprox. 1 hour preparationtime
Pomegranate Sauce
1 pomegranate, cores raised
1 dL orangejuice
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 dL water
2 tablespoons honey
3 juniper berries, crushed
how to prepare:
Puree pomegranate seeds in the cutter, bring to a boil with orange juice, vinegar, water and honey and strain through a sieve. Add the liquid back to the pan, add the juniper berries, bring to the boil. Reduce heat, boil occasionally for about 30 minutes until syrupy.
Vegetables
2 red onions, eights
700g carrots, quarterd along
700g baby potatoes
3 tablespoons olive oil
1.5 teespoons salt
little cayennepepper
how to prepare:
Mix the vegetables with oil, salt and pepper and spread on a sheet of baking paper.
Lammrack
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 lammracks (350g each)
1 teespoon salt
little pepper
how to prepare:
Let the oil get hot in a frying pan. Season the meat, sauté for about 5 minutes, remove, cover with half of the pomegranate sauce. Put meat on the vegetables. Approximately Roast for 20 minutes in the middle of the preheated oven. Carve meat, arrange with the vegetables, spread the remaining sauce on it.
