You should seriously consider changing devices if the problem has not been resolved, as you suggested. I upgraded to a newer model, and the issue was resolved very quickly. You might look for https://kenmore.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html and call them to ask which model is ideal for such issues; I did so to avoid making a mistake and wasting money. I hope you find it beneficial!
