Delicious soup Chankonabe

Tiankonabe is a soup made up of many ingredients. Often, everything is put in it, that is in the kitchen. But Biamba has a special recipe, consisting of two parts: the soup and meat balls.

Ingredients (1 portion)


Soup:

  • 1 ½ cup fish broth;
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce;
  • 4 tablespoons sake;
  • 3 tablespoons myrin (sweet rice wine);
  • ¼ cup chopped daikon;
  • 1 chopped carrots;
  • ¼ cup shiitake mushrooms (can be replaced with other mushrooms to taste);
  • 1 finely chopped onion;
  • handful of chopped cabbage;
  • handful of bok choy (Chinese leaf cabbage);
  • 60 g of tofu cheese.

Meat balls:

  • 300 g of pork;
  • 1 whole egg;
  • ½ teaspoon miso paste;
  • ¼ teaspoon of ginger;
  • ¼ teaspoon soy sauce;
  • ½ teaspoon sake;
  • squeezed bulb.

Preparation



Bring to boil fish broth, soy sauce, sake and mirin. While all this is heated, mix the ingredients for meat balls.
Add the sliced ​​daikon and carrots to the saucepan, cook over medium heat for 5-10 minutes.
Put the meat balls in a saucepan and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
Add mushrooms, onions, cabbage and bok choy. Cook for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat and dip into the pan sliced ​​tofu. Cook another 5 minutes.
Add salt, pepper and soy sauce to taste.

The ingredients show that there is nothing harmful in chanconabe, unless you consider seven tablespoons of alcohol as an absolute evil. A lot of vegetables, a moderate amount of protein and almost complete absence of carbohydrates.
