I decided to dedicate this profile to the publication of culinary recipes and to make a little known both for me and for the reading public a little of the gastronomy of each country around the world. For my first post, choose the Patacón of the Hispanic American zone. Before talking about the recipe I will tell you a bit about its story...

...The patacón, tostón or fried is a meal with flat pieces fried of green banana. It is a popular dish in several Latin American and Caribbean countries such as Colombia, Panama, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Haiti and Venezuela. In the Spanish Antilles, in Central America (except Panama and Costa Rica) and in most of Venezuela, it is known as tostón. In restaurants in the Amazon region and northern Peru and also in Bolivia has become popular in recent years, but not a traditional dish the name comes from the colonial coin of the same name.

ingredients (Portion for one person)

For the patacon.

-1 Green banana.
-1/2 Liter of frying oil.
-Salt, pepper and garlic powder

For the filling.

-150g Mozzarella cheese or grated white cheese with yellow cheese.
-100g of leg ham
-3 lettuce leaves
-Half avocado
-1 Tomato
-Mustard mayonnaise and Ketchup (you can also add corn sauce or tartar sauce or another one that you prefer).
-Meatloaf. Or it could be combined or replaced with pork chop beef or chicken (these chopped into strips).

Preparation

The first thing to do is to prepare the Meatloaf or the type of meat that we have chosen and keep it in a container without refrigeration then chop the avocado, tomato and lettuce into small pieces in a container without refrigeration.

next step that we have to do is peel the banana and then cut it in half (widthwise)

Then fry for 5 minutes until they obtain a yellowish color, remove and on a table with a strip of envoplast place the bananas and then a second strip of envoplast and pressurize with another table carefully until it is like a slice, and then bring the sarte again For 5 more minutes and remove

Then bathe both pieces of banana with half lemon or orange and bring both halves to a plate and in one of them serve the ingredients in the desired order and place the second half over and finish with a drop of tartar sauce or corn and a leaf Of coriander or some other sauce of your preference and...
