Pizza in cast iron is awesome! Excellent tip about making a 'barrier' by toasting the 'wet' side. One quibble over the order, though. If you put a layer a cheese first (preferrably a mozzarella type), you're adding another barrier layer. The sauce won't even be able to reach the crust!
Now you have an excuse to make another pizza. ;~D
