Brown Rice Pancake with Lamb Curry
Ingredients
2 Eggs, beaten
225 cc of Milk
200 grams Brown Rice
Salt
1 tablespoon Curry Powder
1 clove Garlic, chopped
75 grams of Onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon Anise Powder
2 Red Peppers, finely sliced
2 Tomatoes, flush with hot water and peel
2 tablespoon chopped Pineapple
2 tablespoons Cornstarch mix with 100cc Water
Fat for sauteing
Making Steps
In medium pan pour the dough, cooked until golden brown on both sides, do it for the remaining dough.
Curry: Stir-fry onions and garlic until color changed and fragrant, add in lamb meat, pineapple, tomatoes, anise and curry powder, cook until meat are tender (add water if necessary).
After Meat tender enter mixed cornstarch and stir until thick. Serve pancake with lamb curry.
Looks delicious @cook-it-up, first time I see a brown rice pancake, very innovative! Here in Durban, South Africa we either have our curries with a roti( which almost looks like a pancake) or with rice, with this recipe we can have both, thanks for sharing :)
