Some people do not ask for forgiveness for their pride and stubbornness, they have trouble asking for forgiveness. For most people asking for forgiveness they associate it with feelings of guilt, for frail people asking for forgiveness is a fact linked to feelings of shame.
Also people who do not ask for forgiveness do not consider the apology as an opportunity to solve the problem, but believe that if you acknowledge their mistakes, the other person will take advantage of draw in face his past mistakes.
These people are afraid that if they ask for forgiveness they can let their guard down without control.
However, if these people could lower their defenses, be vulnerable and recognize their mistakes would allow an emotional closeness and confidence with the people around them.
