RE: Daily Brain Games - solution and winners of DBG 40

in #contest6 years ago

Unfortunately I am never available at the time of posting, since it is a first come win system that lessens it's appeal to participate and then often dont bother to send in my answers since it is a little bit of a pain to do so for most contests. Otherwise enjoy the puzzles but dont like the win system.

I agree.
It is too much time zone dependent.
She does have some randomized selection for solvers in addition to the chronological selection.
Last time that I tried, I could not solve it anyway, and did not have the tenacity to try.
After all I make more buying votes than if I solved it, and I also fight spam while buying myself votes and increase my reputation, which this prize would not affect.

As for sending in the answers, a handwritten version is also good if the graphics are a pain for some of them.

If the object of each puzzle would be 'solve within 24 hours after posting' and a random winner would be selected, everyone would have the same chance of winning.

But since it is your contest, I think it you should determine the rules.
