Hi steemians!

I am someone who enjoys conversations and that's why I probably joined steemit: because I want to speak and I want to listen. 

Very often, thanks to the nature of Steemit, and in other sites and forums over the internet, we get engaged in interesting conversations and discussions where everyone of us has something to say. 

Several times you will realize that you have spent some time giving your opinion or explaining something and you will have zero benefits, besides the obvious one of freedom of speech and maybe helping someone, which is a great reward as well but...

What if you could get a chance to win just for giving opinions and telling us a bit about yourself? Well this is the aim of the contest, creating a fun game and a cool way to know better other steemit users :) 

HOW DOES THE CONTEST WORK?

The contest will run Monday to Friday. Each day there will be a question in discussion. The question could be related anything: travel, life, politics, philoshopy, cryptocurrencies... Sometimes it will be an easy going question while other times it could be something deeper. Here some examples: 

Open questions: Which is your favorite city in the world? What would be a dream come true for you? If you could meet someone who already passed... who would be? What do you most fear? Which is your favorite song? 

Yes/No question: Do you think Donald Trump will be reelected as a President of The United states? Do you have a pet? Have you ever been in a TV program? Should drugs be legalized? 

Would you rather questions:  Would you rather be able to fly or to read minds? Would you rather win 1 million USD or live 200 years? 

You are free to explain and express yourself as you wan with your answer  and commenting into others, always with respect. If one comment is considered to have broken the code of etiquette (racist comment, disrespectful, etc) will not be eligible for any price.

WHO WINS?

Although no opinion, history or explanation is better or worse than other, someone has to get the price! I will be using the PickSteem tool to select:

• Top voted comment
• Top Engaded comment 
• One randomly selected user 

HOW MUCH ARE THE PRICES?

The prices will be defined by the value of the post in SBD determined by Steem.supply  33% of the value determined will go to reward pool. As you know Steemit guarantees at least 75% of the payment to the author. I will give away 4% extra to the rewards to the contest and 5% to a charity based on blockchain still to determine (feel free to drop any ONG-blockchain based or aid projects based on blockchain)

1. Top voted comment: the user will get 50% of the reward pool +1 SBD
2. Top Engaded comment: the user will get 30% of the reward pool + 1 Smartcash tip
3. One randomly selected user: the user will get 20% of the reward pool 

To participate you just need to upvote the post and give your reply to the question. To start with I will be also fundraising the contest with my own SBD. If the contest is succesful I will consider to have a lower or higher amount of SBD as a reward :) In case there is a tie, I will split earnings.

As this post won't be editable on the future, but the rules might change to make the contest more engaging and have better prices, you will always be available to find the last updated ones and follow up on winners and stats here:

WHEN DOES THE CONTEST START?

The contest will start Monday, January 22nd and you have one week to reply to the question of the day. After one week, the post will be closed and the winners will be announced in the new post of the day. So on Monday, February 29th I will announce the winners of January 22nd and so on. 

I will try to always post questions at 12:00 pm Midday - UTC+1 Barcelona time.

This is the first content I organize and I hope it will be fun for everybody, we get to know a little bit more about each other here in steemit and we can donate a bit back to the world! Stay tuned for Monday 22nd of January!
