It was by pretty much an accident that i came to know about steemit. Then i neglected it for 15 days. During these 15 days of my neglect, the price of steem and Steem back dollars mooned. The SBD which was once 1.5 dollar became 4.5 dollar when i signed up then it kept on going. It was very easy for me to purchase it back then.
When i joined i thought that all i have to do was post content here and that was it, i will get paid. Later released that it takes a lot of effort to do so.
Yeah, that's what I realised too. For me, since what I do is content online mostly, I figured out a way to adapt and to include Steemit as part of my things to dedicate time to. It has been paying off, and some days I slack up a bit because I need to dedicate time and energy on other things. They key is to find a balance to include Steemit when you're able to and in ways that will help be profitable for you, in terms of social growth, in terms of monetary value, and in terms of what you get from it from connecting with others. It's fun to see it pay off, isn't it ;)
