Banner Graphic Contest - 5 To 10 Steem Dollars Prize!!!
Hi Everybody!
We were thinking that it would be nice if we had a good looking banner/button for people to click on instead of just a text link.
The link will bring people to a search results page of similar steemit articles, and I'll be posting it in the comment sections.
If you could help us we would very much appreciate it, and we'll give 5 Steem Dollars to whoever makes the best looking graphic. In fact, we'll double that to TEN Steem Dollars if you make it animated!
It can be any resolution as long as it's unobtrusive (we would prefer that it fits on most modern phone screens), and it can have any reasonable text as long as it informs readers that they can click on it to find related articles.
The winner will be chosen 1 week from today. You can submit as many times as you want. To submit your work, simply post it as a comment here, and in one week we'll decide on the winner. GOOD LUCK! And thank you for your submissions!
Paint 3D! It's lit!
What should the button say? Maybe I'll open up Illustrator or Photoshop :P
Sounds interesting! Would you tell me more about where this will go and what kind of audiences will see it?
Cheers!
Certainly, and thank you for asking! The graphic button is intended to go in place of the text link in my posts. So far my link has read "If you like this article then click here to read more about the subject.(Keywords: this and that)". This link goes in my reply to other people's articles, and it will help readers find related content on steemit. But I've been hoping to replace it with a clickable link-button to take up less space and be as unobtrusive as possible.
The audience will be anyone who reads to the bottom of an article that I reply to. So far I've been indiscriminate about who's articles I reply to, however recently we've implemented a way to opt-out from my replies, either permanently or per-article, with a simple hashtag (#NoRobo).
We're working on setting up an opt-in system so people can tell me to put the related-content link into their pages going farther back (normally I only reply to new articles), but the opt-in feature isn't ready yet.
So technically, anyone on steemit could see this clickable banner link.
Even though nobody has used the #NoRobo hashtag yet, we've started a short list of steemians who've expressed disinterest in my service, the link will not go onto their articles, but they might still see it on other peoples articles.
Totally in the clear now! I'd love to create a button. Hope you'll like my entry :)
