We've been running a new logo contest for the past few weeks and we finally decided on a winner!
Congratulations @orcheva !
The competition was tough and decided by only 1 vote. We'll be awarding him 20 SBD for his efforts!
For reference, we were looking for something that incorporated the below sketches done by @boxcarblue and @rt395 . We thought @orcheva 's design pulled those elements together into a professional logo that we will be happy to use across multiple crypto platforms.
The two other participants also did great jobs and deserve recognition for their efforts, @plushzilla and @podanrj .
It's fantastic that we can source things from directly within the community. We will have some additional needs in the coming months as we continue to expand Blogger Central. Of course we will source everything we can from other Steemians on Steemit.

I liked the fact that this was a really nice illustration of how different ideas combine and evolve with input from the community to come up with something that everyone can be proud of. Trying to promote the same way of collaborating in other design contests as well :)
