As you might know my cousin Richard and I grew up in a huge extended family. He had it worse then me though with 30 1st cousins and both his parents being the eldest on each side of the family. The responsibility to family meant every time there was a holiday weekend they were either hosting or traveling. Which meant he was put out and never got to rest. Add to it that he was Agnostic and he was kind of a loner so it literally meant after there was any holiday weekend he needed a vacation afterwards to unwind. But instead he had to suck it up because he was the oldest son.

So when he got older and started dating a Catholic woman from with a large family were she was the eldest . He could see the writing on the wall. He didn't want to travel very much or be inundated by a mass of family. So he hatched a scheme.the hamptons was only a short distance drom his home. So he booked a room at a bed and breakfast and would reavel the on Friday and stay for 8 days. Yea So He celebrated a short bit Easter from his home to Pass over the Holiday.
