Father's Fault

T-1522 never would have imagined that something as innocent as a fable would get him arrested and sent to 10 years on the asteroids to mine for Prafvalorium.

He had composed it one night after finishing reading the last of the Official Fables for Children to his two daughters.

"Long time ago, in a world full of wonder there were people living on our moon, which was then called Earth. It was a blue planet, with oceans and forests and animals. At the edge of a forested volcano, on a lonely island in the middle of the Ocean, people arrived on a large ship named after a dead queen. What was particularly wonderful about these people was that they had been eating three meals a day for as long as they remembered…"

But T-1522's wife barged into their night cage and stopped T-1522 mid-sentence.

"What are you doing, you fool! Putting forbidden ideas in their heads? Don't you know that the night cages were also bugged last month?"

T-1522 had forgotten. He realized he was doomed, and with his last breaths of freedom until the Bots arrived, he finished the fable, to his daughters' delight.

Love it. The earth is now their moon!

Thanks, comrade!

The Dust Bunny Chronicles - A Fable

Way back under the foot of my bed, a dust bunny lives, I think he's named Fred. Sometimes he is there, sometimes over here, sometimes he is hiding all balled up in fear.

He always stays in, he never comes out. It’s a line that’s so thin, he sends out a scout. His fears are his fears and really quite sound, if it’s raining he said, "I might actually drown."

He wasn't like this early on in his life, but happenings like this thrusts deep, like a knife. His mamma stepped out bright and early one day; said son while I'm gone, go outside, go play. A brave young bunny just starting to hop, when it all crashes down, it ended, it stopped.

He saw it go down, a smile on her face, she turned back around, just starting to wave. He cried and he cried and stood there in shock, what took her away, the broom or the mop?

From that day to now, and from now unto then, he'll stay in his room, like a fat brooding hen.

It's easy to worry, and not hard to see, the moral of this story, is just let it be.

The End!

The Dust Bunny Chronicles - A Fable

Its only for you

(It does not matter how many times you get knocked down, but how many times you get up)

Good luck for future

Cloud Control

A group of clouds are floating in the sky. They speak to each other. “It is so sad. Look down upon them. They destroy each other.” “They cheat, lie and steal.” “They feel entitled and deserving of things without working to achieve them. How can they survive?” “There’s no respect. No love. No caring. Do you see what I mean? There is a prime example. A man has fallen on the sidewalk. People walking by him like he’s not there.” The clouds watch.
But wait. A child stops. A child helps the man to get up and walk. And just like that the clouds start to cry. Their tears wash down over the man and child. They look up towards the sky and feel the tears of the clouds. The clouds dry their eyes. The man and child look up and see a rainbow. And just like that, there is hope.

Great. I think I will hop into this.
