RE: day eleven + day four prize ceremony M.O.L.A.A. molaaspaingaroo daily love and steem dollar giveaway
wow, very nice indeed.
Have you put any of your designs onto fabric?
do you know spoonflower?
I have a profile there, and have a lot of designs up, but not organised (surprise) and rather neglected lately.
see you soon
With your okay - these could end up on fabric or other print on demand products through Zazzle. Last time I checked Spoonflower makes you pay for swatches before you can sell. I am working on a new affiliate link shop that I can run through my website. Any royalties this shop makes will be used to buy Steem and then powered up! And providing that you are okay with this - when things sell that originate from your sketches I will also send some Steem your way. <3
sounds fine to me, but I release my things into the world as much here as if you saw my work hanging in a large and prestigious gallery.
Which is where it should be of course.
once it works it's way around your head for a bit it becomes yours.
make out like an artist, after all, as a synonym for steal like an artist
I definitely need to do a new intro, rules and regs post for the contest
I just never stop.
PS; Spoonflower does make you get a swatch, but if you get thirty at a time you get 'em cheap, and they are useful too.
(not that I have used them yet, but they are useful I insist to myself over and over)
and you don't have to get a swatch to buy your own fabric, only to sell on the marketplace there.
I am scotty_es there, I can't remember why I suddenly changed the branding
my profile I hope although of course I have www.scotty.es too
I am not quite sure what you mean by the gallery bit...lol. And working things around in my head is definitely something I know becomes mine...things like poetry and written word - and creating something new from sight. However I have been literally layering your sketches into my art which takes on a whole new element of 'who owns what'. The 'steal like an artist' thing I still haven't come around to the idea of wording it quite like that. I prefer to think of it as 'collaboration' or 'teamwork'. Since I am very easily inspired by working with other artists I love to build upon and give credit to the original muse.
I might try spoonflower one day! But for now I need to focus on one virtual shop at a time :)
yes, I think we can talk about this some day in the quiet room
