As for your additional comment: absolutely! I have 2 big 'crowd source' ideas I want to do with the community without any prices attached. Maybe I'll contact you about these before and see if we can brainstorm on the best way to achieve this goal because I keep postponing it otherwise :-) Thanks again!

I think it's partly down to the slowdown in new accounts over the 2nd half of last year - a fair number of the charts I pulled showed a shortage of votes for accounts created in the last 3-6 months.
@c-cubed do a pretty good job with their daily curation activities, I 'cheat' a little and head there for browse as they seem to support a good spread of content, created by older and new accounts.

That's actually a pretty smart shortcut to look at what @c-cubed curates! Great tip, I'll start browsing their posts more regularly :-)

The daily curation post is the best of @c-squared and so their should be a decent selection. If not, we can always blame @llfarms :D

you could also check the front page at steempeak.... There is an overview of a lot of recently manually curated posts by different accounts...

You are already following @waybeyondpadthai but still I think she should get the shares/the basic income because the content is very high quality and she has been very consistent :)

I just started to follow him. I think he recently retired and is going on road trips all over the US while taking the most beautiful photos. His posts are super informative too. They all come across as if he is telling you a story. ☺️

I have noticed too, that I followed a lot of people during the first months and especially during the @photogames and then I become very reluctant to press the follow button. On the other hand people tend to turn inactive in a much bigger rate the the one I grow my follow list. So a couple of months ago I realized that my feed was full of resteems from curation communities and very few people from the ones I had chosen!
Now suggestions:
@zipporah Zippy doesn't post very often but when she does she has something to say and her photography is superb!
@vonaurolacu Good photographer from Romania with a unique writing style, some times controversial but usually interesting!
@gardeningchef gives a charming view of her world through her delicate photography!
@coloneljethro nice pictures in a blog totally human!
I think those are not in your follow list and hopefully you'll find some interest there :)

Yes, it is a shame so many accounts go inactive, I've unfollowed quite a few just now... Some really good people too :-/ I'm hoping the accounts that are active now are here to build and not to collect quick money, so it's a good time to see who is here and active :-)

Yeah I know what you mean - I seem to just have resteems in my feed at the moment. As @abh12345 says, I kinda find good folk via @c-cubed curation resteeming.
I really love @allyinspirit's stuff - she doesn't always post but is quite active and when she does post, it's really good. I'm trying to think of people you wouldn't already be following - I'm sure you'd know the good ones that I follow as most of them have been around for a while! I love @immarojas posts, @zen-art, @senorcoconut, @sagescrub, but I bet you follow them already! Gosh, now I'm stumped - is anyone still posting lol? Where is everyone? Hello? Hello?

You seem to be in it for the community, and that’s always a positive around here. I’m also a huge fan of @steembasicincome and recently did a monstrous giveaway (over 150 steem to SBI in prizes!!) too. It’s a great way to support others, build basic income around the community, and place a long term investment stake in the ground.

Yes, upvotes for life! That's it. I have no reason to quit :D I saw someone make calculations on SBI (I forgot who it was, months ago!), and that person concluded it takes about 180 posts to 'earn it back'. So after that (half a year if you post daily) it starts earning you more than you spend on it. And not just you, but someone else who you sponsored started earning from day 1! It's pretty incredibly if you think about it.

Yes, SBI is really something quite special. I love to sponsor new people, and sort of nudge them to do the same. It’s like a spiraling domino effect if all goes well! Except that we won’t be falling down, rather stacking UP the SP!!
