Bad Karaoke Contest~ Reminder!
You may be perfect for the Bad Karaoke Contest if...
You have ever been told you can’t carry a tune in a bucket.
People often have to pull you away from karaoke bars.
When in a karaoke bar, do you hear the words, “Don’t give them a mic, please” often?
Does none of this stop you from getting up and singing karaoke?
If any of these are true you are who we are looking for!
This is a reminder to those who have heard about the Bad Karaoke Contest, that there are only a few days left to enter! A few Steemians have agreed to perform anonymously, or incognito, and that is fine with us! We just want to see you to have fun!
If you would like to enter the contest, you have until March 22, 2018, at 04:00 UTC time (Midnight EST) to record your video, upload it, and then post it to Steemit. Be sure to comment your entry in this post or the original post, Bad Karaoke Contest!!!! Win SBD!!.
The only rules are that this contest is not open for professional performances, and the video must be of the person entering the contest. For the start of the contest, we will accept previous recordings of karaoke. Once the contest gets some momentum, we will require an original entry.

Make a post of your entry. Explain why you are entering, why you qualify for the contest, and why you choose the song you are singing.
Post your entry on your Steemit page and use the tag #badkaraoke
Copy a link to your post and include it in a comment on this post.
Tell all your friends to vote for your entry by upvoting your comment.
Upvote this post before the end of the payout period.
Anonymous accounts are able to participate as long as your body is in the video.

Judges for the Bad Karaoke contest will be @snook and @simgirl. We will have guest judges in the future if this contest brings in more entries.
The entries will be scored 1-5 (30 possible points a week) on the following factors:
Originality- Picking a song that is not sung often, or is very hard to sing.
Performance- Hand gestures, overdramatizing, and passion for song.
Community Favorite- Amount of upvotes in the comments.
A big part of this contest is being decided by the community. Be sure that you promote your original Steemit link and send your followers to this post to vote for your Bad Karaoke entry. Most of all have fun.

Winners of the contest will receive:
- 1st Place- 50% of SBD post-payout
- 2nd Place- 30% of SBD post-payout
- 3rd Place- 20% of SBD post-payout
Once seven days (8 days this first week) have passed, we will divide the SBD payout of the post between the winners. Please allow up to two days for the transfer.
@snook has included an example of bad karaoke to show a bit of what this contest is all about.
The Bad Karaoke Contest will run each Thursday on Steemit.
This week we are giving people an extra day to get the word out about the new contest.
This will give you all weekend to get up and grab your favorite karaoke song to sing or go out into the world to find a karaoke bar. This may even give you an excuse to throw your own karaoke party!

I think this sounds like a great idea! Some one should volunteer.... I'll talk to my technical advisor and see what I can do. I don't even know where to find the original challenge. And I've got the flu. And my eye is swollen shut. And my team lost in March Madness. And now (for some unknown reason) I'm watching the original Ghostbusters. Ok, life is sooo tramaticish. In a short while, I'll see if I can find my Steemit tech and this sounds like my big break. Thanks. :-))

The original Ghostbusters 13 hours ago to me would be a great choice.....you know, make you feel old while watching it on the history channel :D

Most of my exudate is finished. I tried to save it, but my tech chick thru it away. I thought it'd be great for a Black Sabbath thing. Luckily, there's still more BASKETball...so it's ok to be well again! Ghostbusters on the History Channel - I know! It's gonna happen. Karaoke, If not this week, then the next fur shur.
