Question
Today, John met an animal trader. John wants to trade some of his Sticky Dogs for a Rainbow Fish. He wants to know how many Sticky Dogs he should trade for one Rainbow Fish.
3 Golden Cats trade for 1 Rainbow Fish and 1 Sticky Dog
7 Golden Cats trade for 6 Nasty Penguins and 1 Sticky Dog
2 Nasty Penguins trade for 2 Sticky Dogs and 1 Pink Rabbit
6 Pink Rabbits trade for 5 Sticky Dogs, 1 Rainbow Fish and 2 Golden Cat
How many Sticky Dogs should he trade for 1 Rainbow Fish?
PS: This is the fixed version. This one should not contain any mistakes. I reposted it for people who first looked at it and didn't understand it might now see it again and know the answer :) Please follow the regular rules.
Good Luck and have fun!!! It took me longer than I expected to make it, solve it and post it, but here it is! I've solved it myself, so it's possible!

1 rainbow fish = 4.4sticky dogs
Fixed it now. Sorry for the mistakes I made in this contest. The question is now fixed, but I guess I'll post another one today which is actually not full with bugs. Sorry for the inconveniences.
Exactly 3.8. But we dont want to cut the dog so we trade for 4 sticky
How exactly did you arrive at that answer? My answer is a bit different, but maybe I missed something and multiple answers are possible?
Well. The riddle actually compiles into 4 equations. I tried to solve them up so that in the end you only have the rainbow fish vs the sticky dog (by replacing any occurrance of others). When i quick rechecked i could not find an error. This is what i've done:

And now I don't get why I'm making mistakes each time in copying. I made a mistake again... Fixed it now though. It should be possible to solve now.
Quickcheck. Now it results in exactly 4.
J
Wrong. I'll just reveal the answer as no one got it. It's 5...
These are the values of each of them:
Sticky Dogs = 6
Rainbow Fishes = 30
Golden Cats = 12
Nasty Penguins = 13
Pink Rabbits = 14
So as you see, 1 Rainbow Fish trades for 5 Sticky Dogs
Lol. Yes. You just changed your riddle again. Thats very funny. Everytime i post the correct answer you change the riddle and say "you're wrong". Thats very funny. J
No. I changed the riddle 2 times, because I made a mistake 2 times. Your latest answer of "exactly 4" was posted after my most recent change. I'm not being that mean guy :(
I am Groot! :D
That's nice to hear!
