F*CK Rape: Together Against Injustice Contest

Rape is the ultimate fuck you to the humanity of another person. Rapists use violence, hatred, humiliation, and anger to destroy the humanity of another person by forcibly entering their body without permission.

Often, though not always, the victim of this vile crime is a woman or a girl who will never be the same again and may even be alienated and rejected from her community through no fault of her own because she is now “tainted” by the acts of her rapist.

No person has ever or will ever ASK to be raped or be responsible in any way for the violation of their body. Rapists are exclusively responsible for rape and should be punished accordingly - if only they could be made to feel the pain they have caused!

Everyone can resist rape culture. We do not have to laugh at rapey or sexist jokes. We must call them out. We must teach girls and boys that their bodies are their own and no one else has the right to violate their bodies in any way - even if it is something as “innocent” as an unwanted hug from aunt Marge. They must also be taught that it is a privilege to touch another person and it requires a relationship of trust that must be earned. We must show children with our own example - respecting their bodily autonomy from a young age and helping them to take charge of it for themselves.
