Without much ado, i will like my readers to travel with me as I unveil certain attributes in the picture

The Pair of Hands

The right hand represents strength and activity; it shows the human masculine side. The left hand represents the gentle side with generosity and femininity.
The primary symbolism of a hand in this picture is hard work, thus, the dirty hands signifies that someone is going to struggle in life but will have rewards in the future. When you have more than one dirty hand, think of the significance of that hand; is there something you are trying to keep hidden?

In relation to the Image

In Greek mythology, dirty hands was a symbol of hard work but also to bring people together. Dreams of hands that are dirty may therefore be referring to your role as a peacemaker or the need for you to make peace with someone. In addition, if you see more than one hand this indicates purity, peace and resurrection.

The Ring

This ring is given as a symbol of love and friendship – but it is also commonly used as a wedding ring in Most part of the Word. It may also be passed down from family member to family member through the generations. On the ring, the hands denote friendship, the heart symbolises love, while the crown is a sign of loyalty.

In relation to the picture

With accordance with the definition giving to a ring; the presence of ring in one of the hand symbolizes that such individual is a bond of marriage ; the absence of ring on the other hand denotes the breakage in the bond for the other partner either through death or divorce.

The logic behind reading the Thumb

The thumb is a petite body part that takes up massive space in the cerebral cortex of our brains. Our minds grow because our thumbs counter our four fingers. It is believed that Thumbs stand for our most precious human resources: strength of will, ability to judge and capability to love.

In relation to the image

The strength of will is missing, the ability to judge has been removed and the capability to love cannot be found in the picture in question.
The amalgamation of two individuals is the combination of the willingness , tolerance in judgement and abundance in love from both parties.

This can be missing in marriages and some of the reason include

Death of one of the partners involved
Lack of trust and confidence between the parties
Breakage in the marriage vow as a result of certain defaults such as adultery and so on
And many more

The Dark Background

Black is a mysterious color associated with fear and the unknown (black holes). It usually has a negative connotation (blacklist, black humor, 'black.In heraldry, black is the symbol of grief

In relation to the Image

Mostly, Black means negative connotations. That’s because humankind’s instinctively fear the darkness, and anything that lurks in the night.
Black also represents another great fear—being underground, again with no light to see by.

Because of these two associations, death, depression, and fear all are part of the color black background portrayed by the image in question.

The Pair of Stained Hands + The Presence and Absence of Ring + The Presence and Absence of The Thumb + The Dark Background = ???

The Ring which symbolize the union of a Man and a Woman (the left and the right hand) and has it is stipulated that both parties (Male and Female) are entitled to a ring each.

In contrast with the picture , the left hand (female) is not having the ring on and also with the absence of thumb shows that there is a break in the Marriage vows -what the ring means and there is absence of the most precious human resources: strength of will, ability to judge and capability to love -what the thumb means.

The Stained hands means there was sign of togetherness and working together between the Male and Female which is mostly seen in the early years of marriage before the uncertainty sets in.

The reason behind the break of the bonds cannot be over emphasized. Death and Divorce are the only reason understandable to Humanity for the absence of the Marriage rings

The Dark Background shows the intensity death, depression, and fear in this picture and encompasses both the Man and Woman and their surrounding -the children

Aside Natural Death, the passing away of the female partner in marital affairs either in the divorce case or the artificial murder caused by the Male is disastrous to the family background which is invariably detrimental to the society as the family is the basic unit of the society, -the country and - the nation.
The effect of such is greatly suffered by the offsprings and when the offsprings are brought up in the wrong settings and immorality, the society suffers the effect in return.
Oh! How much the increase in the number of social vices in the society is directly proportional to the number of divorced marriage and single parenting life.

Some of the effect of divorce include

Among effects of divorce on children are negative emotions like bitterness, stress, emotional pain, anxiety, fear, feeling abandoned, feeling betrayed and loss of self-esteem.
Among boys, this materialises in more rebellious and agressive behavior. Girls have the tendency to become more anxious and withdrawn. Girls of divorce parents are sexually active at younger age.
Other know effects of divorce on children are adjustment and behavioral problems resulting from the divorced parents that are stress during longer periods and from interrupted routines. As a result, the children become more difficult to manage.

Children of divorce have problems to adjust to the new situation especially when their divorced parents keep on fighting. The bigger the conflict and the longer it lasts, the more the children seem to be affected.
During and short after the divorce, many children go through an emotional roller coaster. Emotions of fears, anger, bitterness, disappointment, guilt, betrayal and stress are followed by those like acceptance and relief. Fortunately for them, the negative feelings do fade away after time. In the early years of investigation - in the 70-ies - concluded that the outcomes of divorce on children was very negative.
