A new steem milestone!
It has certainly been some time, yet a new first has happened to me on the steem blockchain!
If memory serves, this is the first steem contest which has named me a winner; regardless of the fact the the deciding judge was a feline.
@phoenixwren ran the contest and her trusted kitty cat, Her Magesty Queen Maggie, picked the wieners. It was called the Flair Contestants with submissions to include a photo of your pin badge collection for consideration.
My collection was small yet well known to those who follow me....
@phoenixwren ran into a disagreement with a post office employee on their first attempt to mail it in a letter envelope when they wanted to charge parcel rates. Finally Phoenix took matters in their own hands and dropped it into a postal box which seemed to have cut the red tape. 👍😎
It seemed beyond memory since receiving a hand written card in the mail; and such a lovely card!!!
As lovely as that was the prize which was very special to me, being a HODLer of the highest order. 😎

funny how real mail means so much now but then letters from family and friends far away were always cherished.
