THE FAIR LIMIT

How much time is enough for something? Where? or how long is enough? How can we know?

Enjoy an exquisite food is enough until the stomach does not admit more intake, no matter how delicious the food is. Reaching the limit of a container is sufficient before it spills or overflows. Waiting for someone is enough until we convince ourselves not to come. Vote for a Steemit Post before it expires ... Living with a person may not have a limit ... It is possible that 10 years are enough to terminate a romantic or sentimental relationship.

The truth is that each or each thing has a capacity in time, space and tolerance or capacity that determines the end of something.

When is the end of something? That is the theme that I want to develop in this article. This approach is because a great friend at 61 years of age pronounced a phrase that came out of the soul: "10 years are enough." This phrase was pronounced to refer to ending a love relationship. This decision was made based on the premise that she has a long way to live and considers it convenient to end a relationship that does not give her the happiness she wanted to have with that person. In such a way, that before the expectation not fulfilled, my friend decided to "throw the gloves" or "throw in the towel", that is, she reached her limit.

Now I ask myself and I ask: Is it true? 10 years are enough? Is that time your limit? ... My dear reader to that approach the limit point of something is established by the person who lives it ... just as a container the limit is established by himself, and for this the best tool is always time. There is a famous phrase that has given me the best answers. This phrase was pronounced by the illustrious writer Miguel de Cervantes:

Before the different situations that we live the limit of tolerance or endurance we establish each of us, but we must be careful and not be exaggerated with this. The just limit must combine patience tolerance and compassion; I believe that this combination will help us establish fair limits.

The human being is complex and is always in constant maturation, growth and changes, so to my particular way of seeing and evaluating the circumstances that motivate to terminate a marriage relationship, I consider that at 10 years is when it begins to mature truly the relationship of couple, because the first years turn out to be those of experimentation and mistakes. Therefore, we must be careful because sometimes we may set boundaries in a selfish way, thinking only of the particular good. It is possible that the limit set by my friend came to an end very soon and perhaps, because of this, she will miss enjoying a mature and full relationship. However, the limit is a ratio of two factors: Container and Content.

My friend is the container and her husband is the content ... let's say then, that maybe the container is very large and the content will never reach its limit ... In short this is a very complex issue and I am just a simple analyst of a real problem that may have little understanding of this issue.
