Welcome to STEEM CUP - Daily NHL hockey contest for Dec. 12th

Contest Rules

• All contestants are allowed to make one entry
• All entries must be placed by start of first game.
• Contestants must try to predict exact score of the game (including overtime)
• All contestants must UPVOTE post to play. (Resteems are appreciated)
• Winner(s) will get 50% of the post's liquid earnings. (50% goes to monthly contest)
• Any post edited after the deadline will be disqualified from the contest.

SCORING

• 5 points for exact score
• 2 points for predicitng winner and goal difference, but missing exact score
• 2 points for predicting team win in overtime, but missing the score
• 1 point for predicting winner, but missing goal difference
• 1 point if you predicted overtime, but was wrong about winner

BONUS points:

• 5 points if you predict total number of goals in all the games for that day.
• 2 points for player who comes the closest to overall number of goals for that day (If more than 1 player are equally close to overall number of goals, they will all get 1 point)

*BONUS available if at least 3 games are playing that day)

Points examples:

Example #1:Your prediciton 4-1

• 5 points - Score is 4-1
• 2 points - Score is 3-0, 5-2, 6-3,...
• 1 point - Your team won by any other goal difference than 3 goals difference
• 0 points - Your team lost

Example #2: Your prediction 3-2 OT

• 5 points - Score is 3-2 OT
• 2 points - Your team won in overtime, but with other score
• 1 point - Your team won without overtime
• 1 point - Your team lost in OT
• 0 points - Your team lost in regular time
  (Note - If you predict team win 3-2 without overtime and they win 3-2 in overtime, you will get 1 point)

PRIZES

Winner of daily contest will receive 50% of SBD earned on the post. 50% goes to monthly contest. I will post monthly standings every day.
If two or more players are tied after calculating all the points, prize will be split between them.

PHI 4 - 2
OTT 5 - 3
TOR 3 - 2 OT
NYI 4 - 1
BOS 3 - 2
EDM 5 - 4 OT
