[Plant Medicine] 🌿 Win Steem for Exploring A Natural Medicine! 🌿

Last fortnight was fascinating as Steemians explored and talked about basil, elecampane and plantain. Even if they didn't write a post, many joined in the conversations in Discord or in the comments, so it was a great success. We were particularly enamoured with @freyafri's artwork!

This week's plant medicines to explore are:

SALVIA DIVINORUM, THYME & VALERIAN

You don't have to be an expert in the field, just be willing to research, experiment and explore either ONE or more of these plants in a post. You can write three posts if you like - we accept multiple entries.

We're also super open to the kinds of posts you write.

Here's some ideas - you can choose one or more to include in your post. Try to have a focus for your writing rather than include everything. Of course, it must be original work, and we'd love to see photos too.

  • recipes
  • poetry or creative writing
  • personal anecdotes
  • science and research
  • interviews with experts
  • long form explorations into plant history & mythology
  • exploration of cultural or religious use
  • exploration of the plant as drug
  • how to cultivate or grow this plant.

Hi @naturalmedicine, I'm @checky ! While checking the mentions made in this post I noticed that @freyafri doesn't exist on Steem. Did you mean to write @frejafri ?

@checky, you must make a fortune through @naturalmedicine and @riverflows upvoting you for the help you give me in correcting their absent minded mistakes!

Thank you!

I keep meaning to look into thyme more. I wonder if this could be the kick up the rear to get me to. The only thing I regularly use it for is with sage in a tea when we have a cold.

I also really need to trim the plant, so thanks for that reminder too!
