Thanks for the resteem and the suggestions, @doughtaker! I've definitely had the same thoughts about the contest requiring a bit of effort being a deterrent for some, but there are some other difficult contests that do seem to get a lot of players. I think it's just going to come down to continuing to gain some more visibility. I'll definitely check out the "yunk" tag and see if I can somehow work that in to a future contest.
