Role Playing on Steemit from @lordnigel
I've been meaning to share some of the different ways you can interact and potentially earn a little on Steemit via competitions. Because, let's face it, not everyone likes to write and blog all the time and some not even at all. Sometimes you just want to have a little fun and it's a bonus if there's a potential prize at the end.
Do you enjoy role playing games or have you, like me previously, never even tried them? Either way, @lordnigel has been working on perfecting Interactive Battle Tournament (IBT) and round 8 is currently underway, but there's still time to enrol here.

Be as inventive and creative as you want, which is not very in my case...
Instructions are straight forward, even I can follow them. Just type a command and the @wizardzap bot will appear; rather like the dice roll in dungeons and dragons, if I'm not mistaken.
Prizes up for grabs are Steem, silver bullion (donated by @o07), Steem Basic Income Shares and there are chances for upvotes throughout the game. Small prizes come from flawless victories and the big ones come at the end for the top players in the final boss round. There's also a SBI share or two (from moi) for whoever @lordnigel picks as having the best attack or best flare, so let loose and have fun!
The game bot is still being tweaked, but it's improving all the time. The more it's used the more @lordnigel can learn and iron out the kinks. This game is gaining popularity and it will be great to see it gaining even more momentum, especially while we're riding through the Steem lows.

This tournament is looking pretty active. I'll have to revisit the earlier rounds and see how everyone's been going.
Ooo this seems interesting, it’d be fun to give it a whirl, can you do it casually or is it more like give it all or nothing?
That might be a better question for Nigel. Between the tournaments he does bot tests which are one offs, so I guess that's more casual.
Not everyone dives into the story telling side of it either. Some just do the commands, which is pretty much what I did first time I tried it.
Aaah okey dokey, I checked it out a little further which answered some of my questions, maybe I’ll give it a go when I’ve got some more spare time :D
