Still pretty darn sick, but I managed to make it to urgent care today and they gave me some antibiotics, and now my fever is gone, which means that I’m not anywhere near as delirious as I was when I wrote that mess yesterday! But thank you all for being so kind in response, and for letting me stay in the game, even featuring my delirious selfie. Hah. Can't promise that this one will be too much better, but I hope to get in at least a couple more full stories posted on my blog before this is over.

Anyway, I’m a little bummed right now because I’m supposed to be playing my weekly Dungeons & Dragons game, and everyone’s playing without me. I’m video chatting in but it’s not the same and it’s much harder to pay attention, partially because I’m still not 100% there. Not that this is anywhere near the worst part about being sick, or the worst sick-related FOMO I’ve ever had in my whole life, but it’s a bummer.

In this particular D&D adventure, I’m a Dwarf Tempest Cleric named Mistral. Unfortunately, it looks like we’re hitting the end of this adventure, so Mistral is going to have to go on the shelf for a while. I’m excited because I’m going to be DMing for the first time after this. I’ve never actually met a female DM and anecdotal supports my suspicion that there is an even greater male to female imbalance among DMs than there is among general D&D players, which makes me want to do it even more and be extra awesome at it, hah.
