The problem with current travel agencies
As you may already know, travel agencies earn money by providing services to travelers. This means the earning comes from the pocket of travelers. As with any other industries, the competition in travel industry forces some travel agencies to cut their prices and profit margin in order to survive. Diminishing profit makes travel agencies to get creative. They earn money from business owner affiliations. For example, instead of recommending the best discount store which doesn’t share a profit with them, travel agencies are recommending good (but not best) discount store which shares the profit.
Your own “cousins”, your own personal concierge
This is the problem Cool Cousin is trying to solve. With peer to peer (p2p) implementation on the blockchain, Cool Cousin is a place where travelers could get custom and honest reviews. Cool Cousin is a platform where people can ask and provide custom advice or information that may sometimes seem too specific or even weird.
- “What secret cocktail mix that people can order off the menu?”
- “Which DJ in town has the best grooviness?”
- “Which hotel provides the best grooming for your iguana pet?”
Those are some examples of information you can get/provide inside Cool Cousin platform. It’s like asking your close friend or cousin.
Get paid to provide reviews
With Cool Cousin, all those reviews/advice you give out can also earn you money. Using blockchain technology, Cool Cousin is launching CUZ token as a way for the community to interact. You can earn CUZ tokens by answering questions, providing photos, validating reviews, and many other activities.

Cool cousin seem to be quite cool app,
but prersonally I miss days when people used to travel with lonelyplanet.
10 years ago travelling was more fun than it would ever be with mobile apps. That's reality of it.
I've one off-topic question. You wrote in the past about Effect.ai if im not mistaken. I noticed that they are listed only on switcheo.network exchange.
Do you know anything about this exchange? And personally would you invest in this crypto at current stage?

Never heard about the switcheo exchange. However, all ETH based tokens could be traded at p2p decentralized markets such as EtherDelta or Idex.
