I agree that the mindset is the important part. Just understanding that there are options and that you can have greater power over your financial destiny is valuable on it's own. The actual money comes in handy too. And yes, there is absolutely a spiritual component to all of this. Financial security can definitely assist one on the path in several ways, including the ability to focus on esoteric practice without the stress of struggling to pay the rent and to afford food. But also, there is the good in the world that you are able to accomplish when you have greater material resources at your disposal. And it goes way beyond that. On the other hand, there are some people who are currently in a state where material abundance would harm their spiritual quest. I fully admit that can be the case, however I do feel that is probably due to the "shit-programs" (as you describe them) that get in the way of a free flowing abundance.
