Here's how it works
Contest Breakdown
Thursday night and Monday night games are included in the contest. If there is a Saturday game in London or something that game will also be included in the contest as well. The contest will run for the entire regular season (17 weeks).
Rules for when the contest closes each week
The contest will have several locks each week. The Thursday game(s) will have it's own lock, Saturday will have it's own lock, Sunday will have it's own locks (one morning, afternoon, night) and Monday will have the final lock. I have decided to do it this way so that all the games can be included without excluding anybody from playing each day.
Prizes
- 1st Place $350 SBD
- 2nd Place $100 SBD
- 3rd Place $50 SBD
How to Play
- Each week you will select one team which you guarantee (think) will win their game. You can only chose each team once for the entire season so do your research.
Elimination
- This contest will run with no elimination.
Participation
- Players do not have to play every week. If you miss a week it is ok however you don't have the chance to gain another point but you don't risk the chance of getting one wrong either. If you don't make it in time for week 1 it's no problem you can start week 2 or any other week.
Winner
- The winner is the person who has the most correct selections minus wrong selections at the end of the 17th week.
Tie Breaker
- If there is more then one person with the same overall score after all 17 weeks of football have been played out then there will be a playoff challenge for those players.
Keeping Track of Results
- Each week I will be running a spread sheet showing everyone's previous picks, if they were right or wrong, the teams they have already used (since you can only pick each team once), the players correct selections, the players incorrect selections and the total score.

I'm not in this contest, but must say that I see many multiple accounts from one person on your list. I hope non of them will be in top 3.
There always has to be some kind of scam. I'm trying to run a fun contest for real users with one account and one entry to earn some SBD. Perhaps whoever is running multiple accounts trying fuck everyone else over should make a change.
It's a pain in the ass, but to run a legit game you gotta take the time to do it. I had to pay a couple hundred to stop it on my site so I had time to inspect each account applying to play versus trying to catch them after they were already on the poker server.
I've heard of some games going on now where the only player is the guy running the game with his bots and people upvote the game post and he just splits the rewards among his own sockpuppets.
There are so many games on Steemit now, we really need to start cleaning them up and policing them ourselves better and calling out the games that are abusing the system.
Making a statement that you're doing everything you can to keep it clean goes a long way in the long run.
Yes I agree. It's even more work for me again. I definitely will be going through the accounts to find "real" players.
It's a shame really. You think people would just be honest but I guess it's really not any different.
I know this would be little effort, but it is up to you to check every account. If account has no post or have one or two, it is probably fake just made for playing sport contests.
