100% STEEM/SBD Give-Away Contest 0094. Earn votes and exposure while entering!

in #contest7 years ago

Do you enjoy earning Steem? Wish you got in at the start?

There is a new platform (called Narrative) taking members in small batches that is similar in structure to ONO with moderators who are elected by the public. If you want to get in at the ground floor, claim a spot in the wait list here. (They give everyone that signs up a referral link and this is mine. Each referral earns 9 NRVE and the top 10 referrers get to split a prize of some more NRVE. It's a good way to earn coins even before the platform is open for business.)

How this contest works

  • The contest will run for 6 days and close on Apr. 2, 2019.
  • To enter, simply use the #happystream free PROMOTION SERVICE to promote any article (your own or of a friend). Click the tag to find the latest version of it.
  • Entrants will select a number between 111 and 666 and in the replies to THIS post they will write, "ENTRY GUESS" followed by their chosen number.
  • The winner(s) will have guessed all 3 numbers in the correct order and if nobody guesses correctly, then at least 2 of the 3 numbers rolled by 3 6-sided dice rolls must be achieved or the prize rolls over to the following week. (NOTE that there will be no numbers 7, 8, 9 or 0). Example: Dice rolls = 456. Players guessed 152, 256, 416, 555, and 645. Guesses 256 and 416 would split the prize for each having 2 of the 3 numbers in the correct places.
  • The prize pool will consist of ALL the STEEM and/or SBD collected during the contest period (including what was not won in previous contests).

Dice rolls were: 3,1,5 for 100% STEEM Give-Away 0093 and nobody guessed at least 2 numbers correctly. The prize pot rolls into this week's pot.

Dear @happyme

I've heard about Narrative few times already and I was always wondering what is the traffic there. Would you consider this place busier than Steemit (which is very quiet in most cases).

Or is it still a ghost platform with very little real engagement?

ps. if I regiter using your ref link - will you receive anything that has value to you? I'm not planning to use this platform but I dont mind registering if it would help you.

To enter, simply use the #happystream free PROMOTION SERVICE to promote any article (your own or of a friend). Click the tag to find the latest version of it.

Does it mean that in order to enter, people need to publish new post on their own accounts? That will rather discourage most (or rewards would have to be really worth it).

I did find rules quite confusing so I can only wish everyone else who participate all the best.

Yours
Piotr

Thanks for visiting my page and leaving a comment @crypto.piotr.

Narrative is still not quite active. People can create articles now, but they will not yet be published.

I receive 9 NRVE for each referral that signs up with them. Nobody knows what those tokens will be worth.

To enter my contest, people simply need to post a link to ANY article they wish to promote. In your case, you could put a link to your weekly article or a link to one of the articles you promote that is written by someone else. In fact, there is no reason why you could not post several times with links to several different articles written by different authors to promote all of them. However, posting more links will still only give you one entry to the contest and exposure to more of your friends.

When you say that the rewards would really have to be worth it, how big do you think the rewards must be?

Thank you for your brilliant comment @happyme

I receive 9 NRVE for each referral that signs up with them. Nobody knows what those tokens will be worth.

It amaze me that people are being rewarded without having any clue what are they receiving for their efforts. Not even remotly.

It reminded me project @ dstors and @ dcommerce. Value of received support is quite well known but noone knows what will they get in return (they get tokens without any proximate value).

AMAZING business model :)

When you say that the rewards would really have to be worth it, how big do you think the rewards must be?

I think it's different for everyone. I just think that people should approximately know what will be value of their received reward.

Thx for replying :)

Have a great upcoming week buddy

I don't find it all that surprising. Many here are caught up in cryptomania and any new token offers potential, so getting a head start on a new coin is a gamble people are willing to take. When people look at the value of just a single bitcoin, they have dollar signs in their eyes when they think about where that new token could take them.

I think it's different for everyone. I just think that people should approximately know what will be value of their received reward.

I was not asking what people in general would think an adequate reward would be; I was asking what you thought an adequate reward should be.

Everyone knows what Steem and SBD are worth, and I have posted exactly what was in the prize pot, so it is clear that the prize will be more than what is posted. At what point would YOU enter the contest?

As well, I also wonder what stops you from advertising all the articles you are attempting to promote by posting them on the Promotions page?

I would really appreciate your honest thoughts on this.
Thanks, and have a wonderful day!

Dear @happyme

As well, I also wonder what stops you from advertising all the articles you are attempting to promote by posting them on the Promotions page?

I actually never tried it yet. Did you? Do you think people do check that page at all? And doesn't cost a lot as well?

Thx for that tip.

Yours
Piotr

I just realized that you might be thinking of the promotion category as opposed to MY promotion page, because of the way you answered one of my questions.

Dear @happyme

Indeed I thought that you mean https://steemit.com/promoted/

Did I understood your wrongly?

Yours
Piotr

Yes. I meant https://steemit.com/happystream/@happyme/grow-faster-week-71 (my weekly promotion pages).

Why do you not take advantage of them each week?

There is 2.178 Steem and 0.746 SBD in the prize pot plus whatever is earned from this post.
