As an African man, I see this and what comes first to my Mind!

"Is that a masquerade or someone wearing a weird dress"

That's because of the community we grew up in, we get scared of what we don't understand. Masquerades are known to be hostile or if it's a weird person, is he dangerous? We wonder as we flee from the scene.
Well with the advent of media and Tv, it has been portrayed that once u see a white cloth with such descriptions, it's a ghost especially in countries like the United States or United Kingdom.
But let's ask a simple question, why will a ghost need those eye holes on those clothes to see clearly.
It's an ethereal medium so logically it can pass through walls so I doubt it has any use for the clothes.

In other cultures, this sort of attires is worn by cultists in the peak of the night, when they perform their rituals and other things as they are forbidden to see each other faces. Due to their large numbers and wavy clothes" they do give off a scary appearance and everyone stay clear of their way.

What ever reason that is ?
It's meant for it not to be trifled with or else
It spells danger and puffs that's dangerous aura
It spells doom and destruction

So what do u do when u look up and suddenly it's in front of u?
Well u have a variety of options and they include

1. Run
2. Run
3. Run
4. Run
5. Mind ur business and pass

Or else it could lead to

1. Through beating if it's masquerade
2. Beatings or death or worse used for rituals if it's cultists
3. If it's a ghost, what do they even do to humans? Well who ever survives that ordeal can come tell us that story
4. Well if it's a prank, that ghost or whatever go collect real beating.

Anyways that's what I can interprete in my own thoughts about the picture and I hope am not late to enter the contest as I saw this contest very late.
