"Hi @garyvaynerchuk, you don't know me and I hadn't heard of you before seeing a post on steemit.com that said you would be a perfect person to join our growing community of individuals that like to help other.

The first video I came across for you was this one...this was a beautiful introduction to you and your page and I now understand why you are so coveted as a member of steemit.com.

This reminded me of my first peacekeeping tour in Kosovo. We had the privilege of helping the locals build a school, starting a scouting troupe, distributing toys to kids in hospital (I had to work in camp and couldn't go but my best friend made video/pictures for me to share in the experience with her), etc... it was an awesome thing to take part in and this looked like it was just as awesome, maybe even a bit more awesome. :D

I really think you would be a wonderful addition to the steemit.com family....yes I said family. I've only been part of it for just about a month now, but since I've joined everyone there has been so supportive, so kind, so helpful and very, very patient with all my questions. (I'm not super technical and I've had to ask loads of questions.)

My question for you is...Why? Why haven't you joined steemit.com yet? It seems like the perfect place for you. The best of all worlds if you will, because you can earn money on your posts, you can earn money on comments you make on other people's posts, you can support other bloggers with like-minded views and of course you can also raise money for trips like this one you took to Ghana. I'd think it would be a no-brainer for you to join but for some reason you haven't yet....Why?

I know others are also trying to get you to join the steemit.com community so I won't pester you incessantly. This is a quote from the steemit.com post made by @chiefmappster: "Whoever is finally successful will no doubt have earned the 210 plus 50% of the SBD of the remaining post payouts until he makes his first post.", just wanted you to know why so many people were trying to get you to join...mostly for the SBD, but for me personally, I think you'd be a wonderful addition and a blessing to all of us on steemit.com and I hope you will join, if not today than very soon. :D
