Week 10/22/2019 - Win a Membership in Steem Basic Income - Tell us About a Favorite Freewrite
A Favorite Freewrite
Every Tuesday, you have a chance to win a membership to Steem Basic Income, SBI, at the Freewrite House.
Try to win one, my friends. An everlasting vote on your posts is nothing to sneeze at.
We want to make it super easy for you. Your task is to tell us in the comment section about one - or more- freewrites of others you have read in the last couple of days you really liked. Yup, not your own!!
The comment must be at least 50 words long - no upper limit 🤪
See the rules below for details.

In an ideal world, you also give that person a nice upvote - but we are not going to check on that.
To be entered into the drawing, go to the Daily Prompt post by @mariannewest. We are doing our best to resteem them to the Freewrite house profile.
Read as many Freewrites as you can. Then tell us about a freewrite you really liked and why.
Choose from the last couple of days if possible so others can go, visit, and, inspired by your description, leave a vote.

It's time for another round of freewrite recommendations for the week.
Wow! I was impressed with this post from @fitinfun. I find it amazing that she does this fulltime. I only have a few hours each day for Steem, as there's day job and after work tutorials. Anyway, read how she does it in...
Facing Reality with STEEM Weekend Freewrite – October 19 2019 - Single Prompt Option – Awakening
This second one's from @deirdyweirdy. I found it really interesting. I like reading short stories. This definitely fits that. Plus, it had an eerie effect on me after I have done reading it. Perfect for Halloween. Find out more from...
Moonstruck
Thanks so much for the recommendation m'dear. Much appreciated.
I look forward to reading more from you :)
Thank you so much for your recommendation, @iamraincrystal. Sometimes I wish I was doing something else too!
There are so many characters to look our for in this Free Write. The child, the mother, the old woman. So many take aways. A child's attempt to make a situation disappear and then coming to terms with it. A mother's love and intuition and most of all, a stranger's concern. Only thing is, this isn't a story but a childhood memory of @justclickindiva's, inspired by the prompt Inappropriately Dressed.

Hi, my favorite freewrite are:
@justcliickindiva - gut feeling. Her story reminds me of the time I lost my little brother. My parents went from
one hospital to another and just came home one day with him, lifeless... It was a terrible day. https://steempeak.com/freewrite/@justclickindiva/gut-feeling-day-732-5-minute-freewrite-tuesday-prompt
@carolkean - inappropriately dressed. Reminds me of when my friend went to an Anglican church, because she was inappropriately dressed according to them, she was given something to cover herself up. The story was a funny one https://steemit.com/freewrite/@carolkean/inappropriately-dressed-day-731-freewrite-monday

I went to the "damp conditions" prompt post to find my favs this week.
@improv is musing on life and how much easier it would be if we had better skills and more money. Amen!

@ireenchew is continuing her fiction writing after a break. I like this part of the story for ideas about renewal and change. And her character descriptions are very illuminating.

@wakeupkitty found a place here on STEEM that rewards comments. We sure need more interaction. So I will look into this now too.

My favourite this week is https://steemit.com/freewrite/@justclickindiva/the-package-weekend-freewrite-single-option-10-19-19.
I think @justclickindiva is a natural when it comes to story telling that touches the heart and mind. I am not sure if this story is true or a fiction but I can imagine every sentence as she tells her story and I was hoping the story didn't end where it did.
https://partiko.app/snook/slow-death-a-poem?referrer=wonderwop
I read this poem from my friend @snook on the prompt damp conditions. It's a wonderful, eye opening, poem about prison. Her prison was more like being captured, maybe a P.O.W. prison, not these prisons in the States where people go to get fed, buff, and rest. Or maybe it was a prison in your mind! Go read @snook's Freewrite and tell her what you think. 👍
