The internet access industry has been one of the high centralized services of this world. It has been crying out loud for a more effective internet connectivity system that gives subscribers an effective-cost solution relative to the amount of data (in bandwidth) provided to various subscribers. Everyone have been a victim of either poor internet services or expensive data subscription. There are so many problems with today’s internet service providers, just take a look at some of them.

1. Expensive subscription: This is one of the huge problems facing internet users. Many of the ISP’s provide small bandwidth while collecting large subscritption fees from users.
2. Poor Internet Access: In some places, internet subscribers do not make effective use of their internet because of slow connections. Sometimes, there are no connections at all and the users pay for all the losses.
3. Privacy concern: To effectively pay for internet subscription requires the user to send some private information to the ISP. In this era of privacy breaches, one’s data might be compromised without one’s knowledge.
4. Location issues: An internet subscriber may have to move to another location for business or other reasons. This location may be out of coverage for the ISP. In this case extra cost is incurred to have internet access.
5. Inefficiency in dealing with digital resources: ISP give poor services because they struggle with managing digital resources and are hence rendered incapable of providing complete internet services.

Bandz wants to power the world’s internet using blockchain technology.

What is BandZ?

Bandz is a decentralized, effective and swift extranet service that aims to provide borderless peer to peer connection to smart devices using the blockchain technology. Bandz is so unique in purpose and function as it gears towards providing limitless connectivity to individual peers who will in turn provide each other with sturdy internet connection. With Bandz, every device is like an internet server within a closed group who are in turn connected to other closed groups of smart devices on the network. With this type of connectivity, Bandz hopes to forever transform the centralized ISPs’ to a unique and more effective global wireless network.

How will Bandz change the internet access industry

Bandz will change the Internet access industry in more ways than one. These are some changes Bandz will bring:

1. Bandz will eliminate the dependency seen with today’s ISPs: Every device connected to the internet today depends on a particular company to provide the access. With Bandz, individual devices do not depend on any one person or company to have internet access. Bandz will enable devices connect directly to nodes for data routing. In this way devices will coorperate with each other in determining data transfer routes and protocol – essentially eliminating dependence on ISPs.
2. Bandz will change the internet industry by ensuring data security: With lots of privacy issues and litigation all over the place, Bandz will ensure that personal data is not given to any ISP. Since this is a peer-to-peer connection, users can control and protect their data and ensure that there are no privacy breaches.
3. Bandz will also give users the ability to connect to the internet no matter where they are. With today’s ISPs, the subscribers handle extra cost when they leave the area of internet coverage. Roaming is very expensive. So the user must pay another ISP for internet connection. Bandz will empower internet users to maintain the same subscription from any location.

2. Decentralized internet will remove the limitation caused by one’s location on the globe.
3. Decentralized internet would be the cheapest.

6. Decentralized internet will offer people internet access where there is no internet infrastructure.

The ability to exchange bandwidth will effectively make Bandz a global service accessible anywhere. For example, people who travel often on business or other trips can be rest-assured of internet access wherever they go. With Bandz users found anywhere, travelers are able to exchange data with users in their destination and still enjoy strong internet service irrespective of their location. Hence, locations with inadequate or no internet service are properly covered. People who live or travel to such places will not risk internet blackout. They are sure to hook up to Bandz even in remote locations where internet infrastructure is not otherwise available.
Since Bandz will imitate a mesh network, it will be nice to look up some advantages of mesh networks in a decentralized system.

1. Mesh networks enhances internet access and availability since the devices connect to each other. Hence, the internet coverage can cover a very wide area since the distance between one device and the other is close. This mesh- like structure can grow to become a global connection providing access to devices in remote location.
2. Mesh networks connect directly to each other. Hence, each device is important and can share in data relay in the system. This eliminates the need for a central server that seems to make all devices dependent on it. Cost is reduced as maintenance is shared among each device; eventually making the cost cheaper for the end user.
   Bandz can help get rid of needless roaming charges
   With internet access available everywhere, travelers will have no need to pay extra charges for internet roaming. Every user can maintain connection with the Bandz tokens already purchased in their source location. This will help reduce the cost of internet connections globally.
