Players do not lose life points from failed basic attacks that result in Gobbo being summoned. Losing to Gobbo in direct combat does cost a life point. You lost only 1 life point (to the Gobbo who rolled a 2) before you beat the siren.
Stage 1 result validated. 2 life points banked (current total 2).
