@dkkarolien to convert your SBD into Steem and then power it up is one of those things that seems complicated, but in reality is easy once you understand how. It will give you a big boost to your SP and you really don't "need" a delegation at this point.

First step is to go to your wallet and click the little down arrow next to your SBD. One of the options is "Market". Click this.

Once you are in the market there is a ton of information, but really you only care about a couple spots.

This is everything you need to fill in. Its the price you want to pay for steem in terms of SBD, how many steem you want to purchase, and the total SBD you want to sell.

To get the price you can just click the top price in the "Sell Orders" column. It will then autofill in your price for you.

Then just click the total amount of SBD you own (it's just below the box you need to fill in) and it will autofill in the and calculate the total steem you are able to purchase.

If for some reason you don't want to sell all your SBD for steem you can choose a different amount.

Now with everything filled in just click "BUY STEEM" and the transaction will happen for you.

@thedarkhorse thank you for explaining so eloquently. Much appreciated. 😊

Glad to help out. One thing most people don't realize is that when you power up your Steem it is growing via a built in inflation factor. So you are actually being paid to have your steem powered up. Not to mention all the other benefits like increased vote size.

Anyways you have to much SP at this point for my giveaway, but if you ever need a hand just ask.

@thedarkhorse still learning... I even gave away 25 steempower the other day.. 😂 😁 I'll Steem up? Right terminology? 🤔 Thanks for the heads-up
