Desi and SEA Book Review Contest: The Results
After extending the contest last week, I got four wonderful entries. Two of them missed the deadline by a bit, and two were a direct result of the added time. All of the entries were, simply put, terrific. I would reward all of them if I could, but sadly, with SBD and Steem being what they are, and the rewards for the contest being what they've been, I can't even give a runner up prize.

Before I announce the winner, let's take a moment to highlight all four reviews, in the order in which they were submitted:
- @ameliabartlett's Story Review: Monkey King, Faerie Queen by Zen Cho
- @mountainjewel's Does It Rain When You Lie? Review of a Short Story by John Chu
- @aislingcronin's Book Review: "Of Oysters, Pearls and Magic" by Joyce Chng
- @tessaragabrielle's Short Story Review: “Fandom for Robots” by Vina Jie-Min Prasad
All four are well worth reading, all four contestants are well worth following. Picking a winner has been excruciating. But the winner, by a hair, is @mountainjewel.
Congratulations to the winner and thanks to the participants. See you in my next contest!
Congratulations, @mountaintjewel! Your review is beautiful. And, thank you to everyone for joining! I love these contests, they're a wonderful challenge.
What's next for us, @didic? 📚
Still considering my options, @ameliabartlett! I have some ideas :)
OH thanks so much @didic! I’ve read Amelia’s entry and it was fantastic; I’ll take a moment to read the others. Thanks so much and I’ll look forward to your other contests in the future. Love that you’re getting people reading from diverse cultures &, by the way, you’re absolutely stellar at making recommendations!! 💕💕
