The team name + handicap is just a way to write down the bets in the comments so they are easy for me to put in excel.

Asian handicaps are in essense the same as NBA handicaps.
Spurs -8.5 = Spurs need to win with 9 points for the bet to win

Only in soccer there is a draw that happens so in soccer handicaps sometimes you will win or lose half your bet.

If draw was possible and frequent in NBA Spurs -8.25 would mean half your stake is returned when spurs win exactly by 8 points.
in soccer -0.25 means half your stake is returned in case of a draw.
