1-Introduction: The internet of things and its current problem.

The potential of electronic and even more computing devices is, as we all know, immense. And so also its waste. That is why it is largely there, in "potential", and not so much in its applied use. If we think about all the computing power of cell phones, smart televisions, smart refrigerators, etc. We see that there is much to be done, a lot to take advantage of. The union of all these devices could be considered a super brain, a super computer if the amount of these joined with one (or several) common purpose. This network of computing power, well used and at the service of people could be extremely useful, your chances would be enough.

Who has at their disposal a super computer capable of processing medical data very complex that would be invaluable to medical researchers?

The downside is that this is not available, the internet of things is the product, service and tool that arises from the union of these smart devices, but as already mentioned, is in process and somewhat far from becoming part of our daily life.

Today, the Internet has many problems such as data security, restricted access to many poor people in the world, difficulty in sharing data, servers are centralized targets for attacks and fraud and many more problems.

By 2020 there will be more than 50,000 million devices connected to networks, from sensors, cameras, appliances, cars, homes, wearables, to smartphones, with the ability to communicate and send data, according to Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group estimates ( IBSG).

All this sounds, and in fact it is, very promising, but how to accelerate the process and direct it to a future where we all see ourselves benefited? This is where IONChain comes from!

IONChain is a backbone for the IoT, which means it is an internet apart from the classic internet, created by smart devices that can go from a toaster to an air conditioner, and also with the great advantage of operating in a blockchain, that in addition to being a decentralized internet is extremely safe.

The platform, founded in Singapore at the beginning of 2018, did not have to generate an ICO due to the great interest of private investment funds, including the well-known blockchain investment fund LD Capital, Node Capital, Capital Hashlink, IBC Blockchain Capital. 4- The vision of IONChain and how it plans to achieve its objectives.

The vision of the platform is to partner with global manufacturers and physically integrate all smart devices with each other, making them standardized and safe, eliminating the barrier that prevents an intercommunication between all these devices that are in your home, literally creating a smart home. And all thanks to the algorithm of IONChain that will also allow each device to be a miner, being able to accurately calculate the contribution of each of these to the network, in order to give a remuneration in the Token of the company called IONC.

All this is possible by the blockchain technologies, where the internet of things will work, which is obviously decentralized, and powered by Edge Computing. We will go deeper into this topic below.

Another great technology used by IONChain is the IPFS (InterPlanetary File System), which solves the problem found in the size of the blocks, which when larger, the transfer is slower. The integration of IPFS to separate storage and transaction, can overcome the contradiction between the size of the data block and the speed of the transaction.

The ionization algorithm separates the creation of value and the transfer of value. The data can be created and processed locally in smart devices, and then connected to the blockchain network composed of all the devices that work together, providing great data fluidity.

a) Internet of things:

The internet of things is a concept that refers to a digital interconnection of everyday objects with the internet. Alternatively, the internet of things is the internet connection with more things or objects than with people.

b) Definition of Computation in the Edge

Edge Computing is about bringing the production, data and processing solutions needed to obtain valuable information for making decisions and actions in real time, as well as giving greater support to new technologies.

c) Backbone:

The word backbone (backbone) refers to the main Internet backbone connections. They are composed of a large number of interconnected commercial, governmental, university and other high capacity routers that carry the data through countries, continents and oceans of the world through fiber optic cables.

d) Blockchain:

It is a software invented in 1991 for the exchange of information in a decentralized, ultra secure and encrypted way, and its most popular function are the famous cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin.

d) IPFS (InterPlanetary File System).

IPFS is a distributed point-to-point file system that seeks to connect all computing devices with the same file system. In a way, IPFS is similar to the World Wide Web, but IPFS could be seen as a single swarm of BitTorrent, exchanging objects within a Git repository. In other words, IPFS provides a high-performance block storage model and targeted content, with hyperlinks to the content.

10- My conclusion about the platform:

We are witnessing the birth of a new internet, which will not become obsolete to the current one, but will be combined with it and will give us a potential never before possessed by humanity. All aspects of our life will be improved thanks to IONChain. It is a great fortune to have known about this subject thanks to Originalworks and also to be able to tell my acquaintances about it.
