Try to check the story of the siege by the Muslims against a Jewish tribe of Medina violating a treaty so that they are besieged by the Muslim army until finally causing the Jewish tribe to surrender, maybe this is what you are looking for ....
This was a siege yes; although it did not involve blocking water or food supply to the city under siege.
