Thursday doodle becomes a contest! Announcing the winners!
As announced on the contest page, today is the day to announce the winners of the contest launched the past week! At first I want to say we had a lot of awsome entries! We do have to thanks everyone for this unexpected participation! There were a lot of funny, action oriented and original stories. I know that the 50 words rule could have been a big obstacle but it seems that wasn't a big issue for the mosts! Anyway this will be adjusted with the next contest.
I had a lot of help in starting and running this contest, this is what makes steemit couminity something special!
A big thank you to @mariandavp for giving is help and time in this contest. She did the hard work of reading every single entry and picking up the winners. She also participated in the prize pool giving 10SBD. A big thanks also to @kus-knee, he gave his support too with 10SBD and with giving some precious advices for how to made it. How to forget @utfull for launching the idea of this contest?
And know ladies and gentleman, here are the winners!
- 1st place and 20SBD to @grom: he gave with few words insight on the character and hint on what will happen next and leaves you wanting more
- 2nd place and and 10SBD to @artwatch: consistent with the drawing and had a film quality in his writing that was quite realistic
- 3rd place and 5SBD to @masyl: entry was emotional and caring and we do need this aspect too! This embrace a lot of what these brave man does every day!
- 4th place and 3SBD to @mariacherries: Very good story in only few words
- 5th place and 2SBD to @natasmr: Very realistic story!
Folks we had a lot of fun doing this contest. I hope you enjoied as I did. Every story was a surprise and seeing so many interpretations of my drawing made me feel I used it in a good way!
I'll probably run another one the next month, stay tuned!
