I read the Steemit Blue Paper and i will talk about:

MULTIPLE REWARD BENEFICIARIES
From this section of the blue paper highlight, it suffices to say that anyone should know that there are others who share in the reward.

In the first place, most of them upvoting the post had interest in the reward, thats why i, personally like to upvote a post when it has lasted at least for 27mins. There, i become among those who will even benefit more than the author..

So, just like the author, the host providers, the tool developers, voters, all share in the reward.. If you post through busy.org, esteem or even steemit.com, it is good for you to know that the curation or reward you get at the end of 7 days , the sites ensures that the reward is shared among other individuals besides you the author.
Since you aren ot posting on your website, the steem blockchain that makes it possible gets its share for allowing you to use their platform.
