SteemIt display format is not using monitor real estate efficiently.

I love SteemIt and all it stand for. But the display of content does not seem to use monitor screen real estate well. There is too much blank spacing. Even the front page does not display very many posts at one time. I understand the font size must be comfortable for the user, but the spacing is not very efficient. There are many other blogs which display more content per page and are not an eye-strain. Hope some staff are working on this aspect of higher visible content per page.
